My sincere sympathies to the Adelman Family. May God the Hearer of Prayer bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time- Isaiah 51:12

December 29, 2015

Our sincere appreciation to everyone who came to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Andrew Adelman. Our deepest condolences to his mother Judi and his entire family who loved him so very much. Also, a special thanks to his immediate family who provided continued support throughout his lifetime as well as his family's incredible efforts to make his memorial and celebration of life memorable for all of us to cherish. The support and unconditional love that was shared between Andy and his family and friends is what life is all about.

I also want to thank his family for the honor that was bestowed upon me for the opportunity to share my eulogy of love and respect during the memorial ceremony. I also feel extremely fortunate that I was able to assist his family and friends in the memorial process. It was a priceless opportunity for me to complete my journey with my dear friend. For those of you who were not able to attend his memorial or as we would like to consider it acelebration of his life, your sincere thoughts and kindwords are so very much appreciated.

Andy was a very unique person and touched each one of our lives in our own special way. So many of us loved Andy not from a material standpoint but rather from a spiritual inner being. During Shiva Andy was acknowledged and recognized by his familyas a man ofsubstanceand that this character is what makes a person such as Andy so special.

As a part of his inner being and blueprint, Andy had some very distinctive attributes. He wasloving, caring, loyal, sensitive, peaceful, sincere, funny, passionate, appreciative, and a kind spirited soul

Some examples of his positive traits include:

Andy had a huge heart and was always willing to do whatever made others happy.
Andy was a selfless individual and was always appreciative for the friendship that we were able to enjoy with one another.
Andy was a very loving and dedicated person to his family, his friends, and his partners in life.
Andy was extremely passionate with certain things that impacted his life including his love for his family and friends and music and sports and of coarse his cats.
Andy also had an extreme passion for music. He attended hundreds of shows in the last three decades of our lives and for some of us, we will forever have an emptiness in our hearts as we continue living our lives regardless of whatever it is.
Andy will be missed by so many of us that enjoyed his company and the opportunity to be in his life. It has been suggested that Andy's friends were loyal to him regardless of his personal circumstances. This may be true however the same goes for Andy's loyalty to many of us that he included in his life.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been blessed to have a friend like Andy for the last 30 years. I only regret that I was not able to spend more time with him in our journey through life. Some have suggested that Andy is in a better place but many of us selfishly would rather have him right here by our side.

Andy, Please know that you were loved and respected and will be missed by so many. You will forever be in our hearts and our souls.

Andy, the brother I never had, you made me laugh till I cried and I'm crying now, along with Nancy. We loved you, we always enjoyed having you at our home and you knew it was a place you could come and stay anytime to have a warm bed, good food and good times. You were so full of life and laughter and you had so much wit. We will love you forever, miss you everyday and remember all the good times we shared together. We will think of you every time we go down to the beach (your happy place) and when the sun starts to set we will chase it for you. Until we meet again, we will be happy for the memories we made together, as a memory lasts forever, never will it die... true friends stay together and never say goodbye...all our love, you took a piece of our hearts.

Friends forever, love you man.
