A man who was the example of peace, calm and quiet. Our families were friends of the Fontanot's from when they first arrived in Philadelphia from Trieste in the latter part of the fifties or early sixties, too long ago to remember exactly when. Gildo, Pina,John, and Livia all had the same peaceful and helpful demeanor and never changed in all the years I knew them. Always there to help and you didn't have to ask! Extraordinary people, each and every member of the family! We never knew of a single person who ever uttered a single negative word about them. He was a relic; a figure of ways not found anymore. An example to emulate and follow but, it will be very difficult to be like Gildo yesterday, today, or tomorrow. I am very proud that him and his family considered my family, their friends. Heaven just got back one of their best! Livia will be thrilled. Caio Gildo! Amen
Love and Best Regards,
Pat Durante Jr. aka "Junior"
