Everyone of us that were graced to cross into Tony's path of life, walked away with a feeling something important just happened to us. He made us feel as if nobody else was in the room, even if for a split second, it was a genuine moment. God bless you Tony, god bless your children, and god bless your mother and father. Rest in Peace Tony Lembo.

I would like to invite anyone who has memories of Anthony that they would like to share, to share them here so that they can be recorded for Little Anthony a.k.a. Christo (Grandmomma Lembo's favorite nickname)and Lucas a.k.a. Spiderman and/or Idaman.

I have personally documented in pictures as much as possible this time of sorrow and transformation. I am eternally thankful to Anthony for living his life so fully that there are treasures left everywhere in his wake. I will always picture Anthony in the ocean battling currents and critters to his heart's content. I, for one, will learn and repeat both my own stories of childhood bliss with my cousin and those that any of you are generous enough to share to Christo and Idaman for the rest of my days when they ask to hear them. My heart is emboldened by the brightness and adventure that Anthony's life embodied. I am speaking directly to him at times and find that surprisingly comforting. So, Anthony, thank you for leaving us with all the tools and understanding needed to initiate your children into this exciting and everchanging world. I hope that the adventure you are currently on enables you to hear our praise and our questions. Thank you also for the practical jokes that you have somehow pulled on me already.

Anthony's family, Please except my condolences. I worked with Anthony for quite awhile at Navy College with UMUC. He was exceptionally bright and very easy to work with. He always had a great attitude and struck me as a real success. It is a great loss...

Anthony,
I still cant take this all in. I know we all didnt see you that often, and now I wish that we did. I last saw you 2 years ago on christmas eve when we all met your little boys. You were such a great person, and so much fun to hang out with. I'll never forget the time that me, you, christina, and a few others went out to a hookah bar. We had so much fun that night. I still cant believe this happened. You will always be remembered to all of us, and will always be in my heart. I hope that you rest peacefully. Watch over those adorable kids of yours, because they are sure going to miss you!!!

Love You Forever<3 Your cousin

Anthony, I'm sure you never knew how much you meant to me. I've loved you since you first came into our home and drew picture after picture with Justin of tanks and helicopters. You knew from the time you were little what you wanted to do. And you did it and so much more. I hope that you know right now that you were loved by me and so many others. I wish that we all could have had you for a lot longer. You will always be remembered and loved.

It was an amazing turnaround. Despite loving parents his childhood was troubled--he was a virtual 'Peck's bad boy'--and he could have gone either way. Fortunately he took the positive track--joining the Navy, becoming a SEAL trainee, eventually a parachutist and SEAL boat leader, then 2 overseas assignments and finally training for deployment as an Advanced Observer in Afghanistan. On the outside, he got his GED, dabbled in real estate and acquired four or five properties persuading his father to be the unpaid caretaker, and finally marrying his sweetheart and becoming the father of 2 lively sons.
It seemed to me he was like a shooting star but alas he has gone out of sight and left us trying to grasp the falling stardust. From his loving and grieving Uncle Pat, also a former sailor, who had hoped to compare notes on the Afghanistan he knew fifty years ago.
