Papaw,
When I met Stephanie about 20 years ago I never imagined that I would have a second family. You welcomed me in to your family as if I was one of your own. I remember staying the night at your house every weekend. I could sit and talk to you and you would be there listening and giving advice. I never had a grandfather so I looked to you as one. Travis always wanted to come over with me when I went to your house because he thought you were funny and nice even though you tried to make him think you were a grumpy old man with a switch. I'm sorry that it had been a while since I seen you but I hope you know that you will be missed.
Love Always
Crystal & Travis

FOR YOU DAD ON YOUR BIRTHDAY

You are God's Gift to my Heart

Sometimes it's when I would look into your eyes and feel such deep love in my heart. Sometime it was when we shared dreams, hopes, and prayers. Sometimes it's when you did sweet, thoughtful things that made me know I was precious to you. Sometimes it's when you stand up for what's right and your faith and strong values would shine through. Sometimes it's when I leaf back through my memories of joys that you've brought to my life. There are so many times I thank God for the beautiful blessing of being your daughter, I will love you forever and I will never forget!

GRANDPA'S LETTER

Love is classified as someone who loves you or who is there when you need them, someone you can always talk to, a person who always cares more than others and in that thought I think my grandpa was all that love means to everyone, he was there, he cared for us, always had a smile and now hes gone to a place where there is no worries, no hate, more smiles, no more cries, no pain, or anger, and is up there smiling down on us

I LOVE YOU GRANDPA

Pappaw,
You were and still are one of the most amazing men i know. God blessed me in so many ways by letting you be my grandfather. I will never forget all of the special memories we shared. Sitting on the porch and talking to you was what i looked forward to whenever i would go to the house. You would always cheer me up when i was down, you would help me with anything i needed, and you were just always there for me when i needed someone to talk to. To this day, I still here your voice and all the sweet things you would say. You were my best friend and someone i cared about greatly. I know you dont want me to be sad but i think of you everyday. I miss you so much and it feels very weird that you arnt at the house anymore when i go visit. I know your in heaven looking down on us and protecting us, just know i love you very much and you will never be forgotten!

I love you pappaw!
Love always, Jordan

Grandpa Robinson,

I've been blessed to be a part of your wonderful family since I was four. Katie and I have been best friends since the day we met and my heart grieves for the family's loss.

I'll never forget you, your jokes and the way you made us all laugh. You're one of the reasons that I found my soul mate and I will never forget you telling me that all you could do was set us up and if I blew it, you couldn't help me any more! :o) Well, I didn't blow it! :o)

Some of my many wonderful memories growing up are with my second family. When I found out that my Mama had cancer, you not only opened your house up to me, but you opened up your arms and gave me your shoulder to cry on. Thank you for that. Thanks for the laughter and memories.

I cry on this earth for the pain that this dear family is going through and the thought of Mamaw Robinson without Grandpa overwhelms me at times...but I know that this life is but a vapor and we will all meet again in the sweet by and by.

Grandpa, tell Steve that I love him and miss him more than words can explain. This world hasn't been the same since the Lord took him and the days are definitely going to be dimmer without your smile to brighten them.

I love you. We love you.

Dont Stand by my grave and weep
for I'm not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamonds that glint on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumns rain.
When you awaken in mornings hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circle flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there, I did not die.

I love you daddy!

Daddy, You blessed my life and my childrens too! We love you sooo much and even though we were miles apart, you always managed to make us feel right under your feet. You always had a smile, funny phrase, a switch for one of us or just sweetly talked while drinking you coffee in your chair or on the front porch. I love you Daddy. You were my friend as well as my protector! Thank you for loving me!! I miss you and love you Daddy!!! Debbie.
P.S.. Thank you for waiting for me!

We will all miss your kind, loving, gentle ways you showed how much you loved us. We will always have the great memories of you helping us throughout the years coming over to get the girls off the bus, being there at a moments notice and always ready to listen to whatever story/adventure taking place. You not only were and still are the greatest father-in-law but also like a father to me. Will love and always miss you!! Words can never express how thankful I am to have been blessed by you and your kind spirit. Love and miss you terribly! Stefanie Robinson

With teared filled eyes we watched you, suffer and fade away.
Athough we loved you deeply, We could not make you stay.
If tears could build a stairway, And memories were a lane. I would walk right up to heaven, And bring you home again.
My heart still aches with sadness, and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you, No one will ever know.
I would have held you tighter if I had known.
I Love You Daddy and you are always with me.

To Barbara and my cousins, I am so sorry that Uncle James has left us. The most comforting thing to me is that he will finally get to see his mother. Aunt Lulie was devastated and cried like a baby. She is heartbroken, as I know you all are. My thoughts and love are with you. Hope we call all get together and meet one day. Love and Hugs, Alice Faye
