Paul Dillon Obituary

Paul Franklin Dillon WILLIAMSBURG - Paul Franklin Dillon, 87, of the 4700 block of Sanford Arms, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011. A native of Independence, Mo., he was a retired supervisor in the Pattern Shop at Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 42 years. He also retired as a minister of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a World War II and Korean War veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Lillian J. Dillon; a daughter, Nancy Lee Aghamalian of Clarksburg, Md.; two sons, Bruce A. Dillon of Jackson, Ohio and Larry G. Dillon of West Point, Va.; a sister, Mary Anne Evans of Marietta, Ga.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Elder Wayne Bradley. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.
