William T. Joseph

Norfolk - William Thomas Joseph, 78, of Norfolk, passed away 12/7/2015. He was born on 5/8/37 to Alfred and Katherine Joseph of DE. Bill served in the army before completing his education at ECU. It was there he met and married his wife, Norma Faye Bright, on 6/7/64. They settled in the Virginia Beach area and he took a job as the comptroller in the business office with Virginia Wesleyan College, then started a family. He completed his master's in business and spent many years as the Vice President of Finance at VWC. Bill was very active in the Cape Henry Rotary Club, his church, and VWC. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Faye Joseph; his children Mark Joseph (Sarah) and Michelle Brown; grandchildren, Liam Joseph, Rainy and Chantal Miles; brother Alfred Jr. (Caddie); and loving nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., 12/12/15 at Epworth United Methodist Church at 2 p.m.
