Edward Peabody Obituary
Va Beach - Edward Stiles Peabody, Jr., died October 15, 2016, in his Virginia Beach home.
Mr. Peabody was born October 23rd, 1922 in Norfolk, VA. He was a long time resident of Virginia Beach and member of Old Donation Episcopal Church. He retired from the highway construction business as president of E.V. Williams Co. in 1997. He was predeceased by his first wife Emilie Owens Peabody, who died in 1995, and his second wife Mary Landon Peabody, who died in 2015.
He is survived by his two children, E. Stiles Peabody, III, (Nora) and Victoria O. Beasley (Bill); three grandchildren, Andrea K. Peabody, Edward S. Peabody, IV, and Emilie M. Beasley; and his two step children, Stacy Saville and Bill Landon and their families.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2016, in Old Donation Episcopal Church. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Memorial donations may be made to Old Donation Episcopal Church Building Fund.
