Brenda Puchacz Wood NORFOLK - Brenda Puchacz Wood, 60, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010. She was a registered nurse having worked at several hospitals in the Tidewater area. She was born in Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Ramsey Puchacz Pajuf and Edward P. Puchacz. Brenda was a graduate of Granby High School, attended Old Dominion University, and graduated with a nursing degree from Norfolk State University. She was also an accomplished artist and painter. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Aaron Wood and his fiancée Judi Garland and their son Ramsey of Alexandria, Va., and Barrett Wood and his wife Caroline and their son Barrett IV of Norfolk; her stepfather, Joseph Pajuf of Norfolk; and many loving friends who will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 25, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel.
