God Bless Mr. Elliott and R.I.P. He was a patron that I had the pleasure of meeting each morning when I worked at Portsmouth Naval Hospital Gym. He was focused when he came to work out. His workout partner Mr. B will forever remain as my motivation to keep striving as long as I live. Emanuel Solomon U.S. Navy (Ret)...Atlanta GA

REST IN PEACE
December 1, 2011
Mr. Elliott was my inspiration and friend. We exercised daily at the Callahan fitness center in Portsmouth. For 3 years we tackled the treadmills and overcame our personal blockades and barriers. He could walk hours on the steepest incline. I thank God our paths crossed, I'm better for it, even though our conversations were of a few words..oh, but their impact is still felt. All souls belong to God.

Ronnie claimed this fate a while ago and said he would be ready when this day came. He will be missed.

To the Elliott Family,
My prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. I met Sgt Elliott as I was coming into the 71st APS Squadron at Langley Air Force Base.

I knew Ronnie while we was in the service. He was the reason I came to Portsmouth after our tour of duty in Vietnam. We were station at the shipyard together. It was during this this time I met and married by future wife.I have been trying for more than 40 years to find him to talk of "old times". I am so sorry, I didn't get the chance.
With heartfelt sympathy to his family, I shall always remember him as a good friend.

Ronnie was the best. Ronnie always kept you laughing. Our family enjoyed the visits by Ronnie and his family. Sorry about the loss of a nice man and Veteran that loved and served our country.
