Annie Brown Obituary

Annie B. Brown VIRGINIA BEACH - Annie B. Brown, 91, of the 2200 block of Princess Anne Road, passed away March 9, 2011. A native of Ahoskie, N.C., she was the widow of John L. Brown. Annie was a member of Mount Zion AME Church where she served on the Deaconess Board and the Beautifying Women Club. Annie was also a member of the Daylight Savings Club and the Princess Anne Rec Senior Center. She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Ruth Linear of Norfolk and a special nephew, Rayburn P. Butler. A funeral will be held at noon Monday, March 14, in Mount Zion AME Church, 2268 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, with the Rev. Anthony Sanders presiding. Interment will follow in Roosevelt Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Beach Funeral & Cremation Services Inc. at Town Center, 4456 Bonney Road, Virginia Beach. www.beachfuneral andcremationservices.com. Kevin A.
