Apolos Cuffee Obituary

Apolos H. Cuffee CHESAPEAKE - The Rev. Apolos Harris Cuffee, 67, of the 4000 block of Ahoy Court, was called home to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 11, 2009. The Rev. Cuffee retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 32 years as a welder. The Rev. Cuffee leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Emma M. Cuffee, and two daughters, Lisa K. Cuffee and Shante M. Cuffee. He also leaves to cherish his memory three sisters, three brothers, and a granddaughter, Mikayla Williams. Viewing will be held today, Sept. 15, 2009 at J.T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Hwy., Chesapeake, from 3 until 8 p.m. A life celebration service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Dr. Kim W. Brown, senior pastor, 884 Bells Mill Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322. Pastor Darryl McClary will officiate. The burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.jtfisherfuneralservices.com.
