Benjamin Gajeton Obituary

Benjamin M. Gajeton Sr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Benjamin Menor Gajeton Sr., 90, passed away Feb. 24, 2011 in Norfolk. A native of Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was the son of the late Tomas and Leona Gajeton. He was a retired school teacher. He was a member of The Catholic Church of St. Mark and a former member of U.I.A.T. Mr. Gajeton was predeceased by his wife, Mercedes S. Gajeton; and is survived by his two daughters, Yolanda Sagun and husband Eugene and Revelita Estabillo and husband Celedonio, all of Virginia Beach; three sons, Wilhelm Gajeton Sr. and wife Fe of Charleston, S.C., Ferdinand S. Gajeton and wife Rhonda of Chesapeake and Benjamin S. Gajeton Jr. and wife Daisy of Virginia Beach; a sister, Consuelo Lacro and brother, Ernesto Gajeton Sr. both of Phillipines; 13 grandchildren, Wilhelm Jr., Brian, Cherlyn, Marvin, Aldwin, May Ann, Maria Fe, Sherwin, Andrea, Kristen, Marc, Erik, and Alexa and 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. the Catholic Church of St. Mark with the Rev. Fr. James Griffin officiating. The burial will follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. with a Christian wake. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
