I was deeply saddened to hear about the demise of Ate Lita. As the eldest among first cousins in the Africa family, she will always have a special place in our hearts, especially for me who is the youngest in the brood. I've had very limited contact with her because of physical distance, but that didn't stop me from looking up to her as a role model.
May Ate Lita rest in peace in the arms of our Lord.
Our sincere thoughts & prayers are with the family in this difficult time of grief.
With our deepest sympathy,

we join you in praying for the eternal repose of her soul. cancer happens even to the best people - corazon c. aquino and our own esperanza m. lantin-ilagan to name a few. she has lived a life well-lived and be consoled that she is in a better place. another angel has gone home to whisper a prayer for all of us who still walk this earth...
