Charles Sullivan Obituary

Charles F. Sullivan SUFFOLK - Charles Francis Sullivan, 53, died April 11, 2010 surrounded by family and friends at his home. He was born in Dayton, Ohio to Margaret Adams and the late Charles Edmund Sullivan. He worked for 19 years at Colonna's Shipyard. Charles was a member of United Hunt Club of Tidewater. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Sullivan; sons, Timothy and Thomas Sullivan, all of Suffolk; sister, Gail Brown of Dayton, Ohio; brothers, Michael Sullivan of Mississippi and Robert Sullivan of Dayton, Ohio; grandson, Zachery Sullivan of Fresno, Calif.; sister-in-law, Karen Menke and husband Vernon of Ahoskie, N.C., and Lisa Miles and husband Larry of Currituck, N.C.; and brother- in-law, John Gillitzer and wife Deborah of Suffolk; many nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted Thursday, April 15, at 2 p.m. at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434 by the Rev. Michael Halley. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 604 Constance Woods Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434. Condolences may be registered at www.rwbaker fh.com.
