Conrado Patricio Obituary

Conrado Plata Patricio VIRGINIA BEACH - Conrado Plata Patricio, 86, a parishioner of Saint Pius X Catholic Church, passed away at Norfolk Sentara General Hospital Dec. 31, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Born Feb. 19, 1924 in Cavite City Philippines. He was married to his late loving and devoted wife Angela Austria Patricio Jan. 1, 1950. Together they had seven beautiful children, Robert Patricio and his wife Gail, Aries Patricio and his wife Edith, Ernie Patricio and his wife Ellen, Corrie "Maria" Barrera and her husband Gabby, Malou Bernardo and her husband German, Rose Laurin and her husband Peter and the late Adelaida Patricio. Conrado was blessed with 16 wonderful grandchildren, Raffy, Johnnery, Priscilla, Jerome, Bobby, Kristen, Christine, Pamela, Angeli, Timothy, Jordan, Abraham, Austin, Benjamin, Nathan and Brianna. Conrado was a member of the Knights of Columbus Stella Maris Council of the Philippines. He was also a retired outside machinist from Norshipco. The family would like to invite friends to gather at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5. A Mass to celebrate Conrado's life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Saint Pius X Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Nixon Negparanon officiating; interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may also be offered to the family online at www.woodlawngroup.com.
