Edward Ulrich

Edward H. Ulrich SUFFOLK- Edward Hunter "Ted" Ulrich, 66, died Dec. 25, 2009, in a Suffolk hospital. A native of Pittsburgh, he was predeceased by his parents, Edward W. and Alberta Hunter Ulrich; and a son, Kevin P. Ulrich. Mr. Ulrich was a retired U.S. Army major and also retired from Northrop Grumman in Newport News. He was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church and involved in mission projects through the church; he was the chaplain in the Thailand, Laos, Cambodia Brotherhood (TLCB). Survivors include his wife, Judy Ulrich; his mother, Elaine S. Ulrich; a daughter, Debbie Walbrecher; daughter-in-law, Tracy Ulrich; three sisters, Lynne Evans and husband John, Laurie Ulrich, and Leslie McBane and husband Patrick; and four grandchildren, Brandi Ulrich, Kelsea Ulrich, Hunter Ulrich and Amanda Walbrecher. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, Suffolk, Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew Presbyterian Church by Dr. Keith M.
