Frances Stegemann Obituary

Frances M. Stegemann VIRGINIA BEACH - Frances M. Stegemann, 77, went to be with our Lord Nov. 8, 2010. A native of New York City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Concetta Ricco and the widow of the Rev. Fredrick Henry "Fritz" Stegemann. She was a member of the Open Door Chapel. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jester and three sons, Frank, August and John Stegemann all of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Lucille Pierce of New York and Rose Brumley of Virginia Beach. A funeral will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Farrell officiating. The burial will follow in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Fran was an awesome lady. She was caring and loving to all she met. She was quite a cook too, I always looked forward to her delicious Italian dishes. She loved her family and she loved God. She is celebrating with Him now. We'll see her again.
