To Aunt Lula, Junior, Jeff and Arnold,
Thank you so much for sharing Uncle James with me. It was a blessing to have had him as a role model representing what a good and Godly man should be. He was a man of biblical principles. His love for his immediate and extended family will stand the test of times. He was wise, understanding, giving, and I could continue on-and-on. Uncle James will be missed, but pleasant memories will never cease. As I grew, I used him as a measuring stick for a husband and friends.
I thank God for being his neice. With love to "the boys". I can hear him saying now--"Lulu, leave the boys alone". What a wonderful gentleman, husband,father and uncle.

To the Copeland Family,
I was sadden to hear of the passing of Deacon James E. Copeland,Sr.
Your wonderful husband, father, grandfather,brother and family member. I remember him as a christian who loved and served God.
It was my privilege to serve as secretary under his presidency in the
Sunday School Union. He served with integrity and abhered to the
principles and guidelines of our church. He lived his life with truth
and honor. I praise God that he was a guiding light.I will always love
and cherish his memory.
