Kevin Ziolkowski Obituary

Kevin Ziolkowski VIRGINIA BEACH - Kevin Ziolkowski was taken from us suddenly on July 2, 2010 leaving holes in the hearts of his wife, Lila and children, Keanu and Kiara. He'll be joining Dad and Steve in God's workshop. Also missing him will be his Milwaukee family - mother, Alice; brother, Keith (Ancka); sisters, Chris Schneider and Karen (Greg) Sobczak; his California family, Don and Vivienne Matias, Donna Matias Bell (Tom Bell) and Peter Matias; his Virginia family, Reggie (Carolyn) Hatcher, Glenn (Joyce) Hatcher, Wayne (Trena) Hatcher, Dean (Lisa) Hatcher and Brenda Hatcher Rohrer (Jeff Rohrer); numerous other relatives, neighbors and friends. Kevin was first and foremost a family man and consummate Daddy. He was also a valued employee of Proctor & Gamble, graduate of Georgia Tech, a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, as well as being active in his community. He was always willing to lend his expertise when a project was being undertaken. A gathering took place Friday, July 9, at 10:30 a.m. at the Vineyard Christian Church in Florence, Ky. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ziolkowski family for the education of their children, 1992 Coachtrail, Hebron, KY 41048.

I just found out the news through my mom from Aunt Gloria and also Aunt Alice. My deepest deepest condolences. This is so sad, I remember the times we played together as little kids and of course all the Christmases at Uncle Leonard's and other family events.

Dear Ziolkowski family,
My great feelings for your loss. I share your grief.
I remember as a child Kevin was called "Shoes" by my husband Ray. And he certainly filled those shoes by his successful life, but taken to quickly.
