My dear uncle Bud was always an inspiration to me because of his mild manner and loving ways. He showed his love for God through his loyalty to church, family, and friends. He was a great brother to my Dad who shared lots of time together at church functions, crafts, home repairs, etc. He took care of my Mother after my Dad passed. He loved his children, Earl and Karen dearly and you could see the pride in his eyes and face whenever he talked about them. He loved all of his grandchildren and would pull out the recent photos of them whenever I visited. I never heard uncle Bud say an unkind word about anyone. He would give you the shirt off his back. When he showed up at our house with Helen's famous corn pudding, we attacked him. He was funny, shy, and delightful. I was fortunate enough to spend quality time in prayer, conversation. or silence with him while he was in the hospital. I know he is in heaven with my Mom and Dad as well as his parents and brothers and sisters who have gone on ahead as well. I know they are having a grand old time. God Bless You Dear Uncle Bud and thanks for all you have done for me. I will never forget you, so keep the gate open for me...love, Jeanne
