Madora Pritchard Obituary

Madora Louise Pritchard CHESAPEAKE - Madora Louise Pritchard, 86, died Thursday morning, Nov. 18, 2010 in Autumn Care of Chesapeake. A native of Chesapeake, she was the widow of the late Lonnie Lee Pritchard and the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Knox and Kenneth Augustus Green. Mrs. Pritchard worked as a salesclerk with S. S. Kresges department store. She attended Snug Harbor Community Church. Survivors include five daughters, Mary Elizabeth Mapes and Lillian Louise Best both of Chesapeake, Betty Lee Munden of Suffolk, Lillie Mae Pritchard of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Faye Nicholas of Edenton, N.C.; one son Thomas Edward Pritchard of Chesapeake; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. The services for Mrs. Pritchard will be private family services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters Kidney Unit, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, VA 23507. Online condolences may be sent to the Pritchard family though www.swindellfuneralhome.com. Swindell Funeral and Cremation Services of Hertford, N.C., is serving the Pritchard family.
