Margaret Foster Obituary

Margaret Ellen Foster SUFFOLK - Margaret Ellen Foster, 84, passed away Dec. 24, 2010. She was born in East Prairie, Mo. She was the daughter of the late Alma Chunn and Henry Sweet. Margaret retired as a real estate office manager. She was a member of the Celebration Christian Church and it's Life Group. Margaret is survived by her husband of 63 years, George Marion Foster; daughters, Belinda J. Adkins of Kennett Square, Pa., and Alice C. Worthington of Suffolk; son, Steven L. Foster of Amelia, Va.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Aletha Heil and Martha Johnson. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Dan Knust officiating. Burial will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veteran's Cemetery. Friends may join the family Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to Celebration Christian Church, P.O. Box 2417, Suffolk, VA 23439 . Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
