Marguerite Gregory Obituary

Marguerite W. Gregory NORFOLK - Shirley Marguerite Wilson Gregory, 81, passed away May 20, 2010, in Virginia Beach. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late John Moore Wilson Sr. and Maisie Waldorf Wilson. She was predeceased by her brother, John Moore Wilson Jr. She was a graduate of Norview High School and James Madison College. She was past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy and Colonial Dames. She is survived by her husband, James J. Gregory Sr.; her son, James J. Gregory Jr.; her daughter, Lorraine Gregory Klingman (Tom); three grandchildren, Carrie Gregory Frederickson, John M. Gregory and Emily B. Klingman; and two great-grandchildren, Allie Frederickson and Taylor Frederickson. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Marguerite. I worked with her at Basgier and Associates for quite a few years. I will always remember her warm smile and the love she had for her dogs.
