Michael Patillo Obituary

Michael Patillo SUFFOLK - Michael Patillo, 55, passed away Feb. 4, 2009. He was born in Suffolk, the son of the late George and Catherine Patillo Sr. He was employed by the City of Portsmouth where he was a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of Holy Light Church of Deliverance, where he served as a trustee, security and van driver. Michael is survived by his wife, Shirley Patillo; four sons, Larry Pittman, Antoine Pittman, Darrick Scott and Deshawn Scott; two brothers, George Patillo Jr. and Cray Patillo; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at J.T. Fisher Funeral Services, 1080 N. George Washington Highway, Chesapeake. A life celebration service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Light Church of Deliverance, 1918 Lincoln St., Portsmouth, where Bishop Samuel L. Carruth is pastor, with Elder Liverman, officiating. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk.
