Nijah Hightower Obituary

Nijah Helene Hightower PORTSMOUTH - Nijah Helene Hightower, 31, of the 100 block of Elm Ave., died March 21, 2010, in her residence. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Christ Holiness and a graduate of Hampton High School. She is survived by her spouse, Shamgod Hightower; mother, Sharon Bremby; father, Edgar John Nichols; two sisters, Wallesia Coger (Leonard) and Raven Ricks (Ozzie III); two brothers, Johnathan Nichols and Solomon Nichols; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Fisher Funeral Home chapel, 1520 Effingham St., Portsmouth. The family will assemble at 2606 Peach St. to receive friends and will assemble at the funeral home Saturday at 12:30 p.m. www.fisherfuneral.com.
