Norene Hoge Obituary

Norene S. Hoge VIRGINIA BEACH - It's with saddened hearts but with outreached arms that on June 14, 2010 we sent our loving mom and grandma to be with saints in heaven. Norene was a talented seamstress who enjoyed spending time designing quilts, embroidering and making crafts. She will be especially remembered for her mastery and expertise in making homemade dolls and figurines. Norene was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, the "Honorable Donald L. Hoge." Left to cherish her memory are a son, Thomas A. Hoge and Julie of Cincinnati and a daughter, Sally A. Hoge and Glenn Felthousen of Virginia Beach. She also has five loving grandchildren, Rachel, Heather, Ethan, Christopher and Glynna to go along with a host of other friends and extended family members. The family will be having a private ceremony for family and friends to celebrate Norene's life at a future date to be announced. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Oceanfront Chapel, 1801 Baltic Ave., Virginia Beach, is assisting the family. Condolences may be made by visiting www.altmeyer.com.
