Reginald Bazemore Obituary

Reginald Bazemore PORTSMOUTH - Reginald "Reggie" Bazemore, 45, of the 2400 block of Lansing Ave., died July 7, 2010 at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Heart Center. He was born Oct. 26, 1964 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a loving son, brother, father and friend. Reggie was predeceased by a daughter, Bianca Bazemore. Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Dominique and Brandon Bazemore; mother and father, Deloris and Arthur Crosse; two sisters, Norma Rogers (Lewis) and Arnita "Peaches" Jordan (Ray); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Tuesday, July 13, at 11 a.m. at Third Baptist Church, 461 Godwin St., Portsmouth. Burial will follow in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive guests at the family residence, 2417 Lansing Ave., Portsmouth. Corprew Funeral Home is in charge.

I worked with Reggie during the early to mid 1990's. He was very funny and easy to get along with. He was a pleasure to work with. I was very sad to hear about his passing. He will be missed by all who knew him. My sympathy goes out to his family.
