My belated condolences. I was so shocked to hear about Roger's death when I went to work at Sentara Norfolk General Special Care Nursery. He used to transfer infant's to us from all over the Tidewater Area while working at CHKD. Then I further realized, that he was my neighbor. I was heartbroken. He and I used to work side-by-side at work, he CHKD and myself at SNGH, but we also were side-by-side every career day at Pemboke Meadows Elementary School. I showed them what I did as a nurse at SNGH and then if they became sicker they went to CHKD and he was always there for CHKD. Our children were in class together and I knew Kim through the talent shows I helpd with at Pembroke Meadows. I am so glad I could contribute in getting the bench placed in our park to remember him by. He will never be forgotten. Just loved and appreciated.
