Shannah Coleman Obituary

Shannah R. Coleman COURTLAND - Shannah Raye Coleman, 64, died June 17, 2010. A native of Suffolk, she was a loving wife, homemaker and Sunday School teacher for Courtland Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Hugh J. Coleman; daughters, Robin E. Fuhrmann (John) and Melissa E. Henley (Darin); son, William Felton English; loving daughter of Peggy Outland Parker and the Rev. Ray Hampton and his wife Sarah; loving sister of Peggy D. Parker and Patricia Downey; stepson, Jeff Coleman; stepsisters, Becky Parker and Sharon Peelen; stepbrother, Ronnie Turner; grandchildren, Johnathon, Jesse, Matthew, Christina, Rebekah, Alyssa, Trey and Trevor; great-grandchild, Chloe; and many other relatives and friends including her cat, "Tip." The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Wright Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Sunbury, N.C., cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.

I am so sorry to here about your wife. She was definately a ray of sunshine and will be missed. You and your family are in my prayers.
