Timothy McEachern Obituary

Timothy J. McEachern MANHEIM, Pa. - Timothy J. "TJ" McEachern, 47, of the 200 block of Grandview Drive, Manheim, Pa., formerly of Jacksonville, Fla., went home to be with his Lord Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 at his residence following a brief illness. Born in Portsmouth, he was the son of Fred M. McEachern of Lititz, Pa., and the late Theresa Marie Brennan McEachern. He was the husband of Susan L. Watts McEachern for 20 years on August 18. A Christian, TJ was baptized in the Roman Catholic faith. He was a home insulator, most recently employed for five years by Keener Insulation in Lancaster, Pa., until his illness. He was a 1981 graduate of Churchland (Va.) High School. In addition to watching football and NASCAR, he enjoyed restoring vintage autos, going to the beach and surfing. His favorite beach was St. Augustine. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a daughter, Theresa Marie McEachern, at home; four stepchildren, J. Allen, husband of Tammy J. Harding Wanner, of Ephrata, Pa., Steven J. Yoder of Lititz, Michael P. Yoder of Lancaster, and Jennifer L., wife of Corey N. Dengler, of Jacksonville, Fla.; a grandson, Evan C. Wanner; and five siblings, Mary E. Fitzgerald, wife of Sands Woody, of Roanoke, Va., Trish, wife of David Kimmel, of Lititz, Michael, husband of Kay A. McEachern, of Prairie Grove, Ark., John P. McEachern, husband of Sue Monberg, of Titusville, Fla., and Carol M. Howard-Pogue, wife of Billy Pogue, of Manheim. Services are private. The family requests that flowers please be omitted.
