Dear family and friends of Marie, What a joy it was to know Marie. She always kept a smile on her face and always made us laugh. She was diagnosed the same time my father was diagnosed and we had many conversations about the disease. What a wonderful comfort she was even while she was going through the same thing. I will miss her greatly.

Dear Family, I was taken aback when I heard Marie was ill and that she had passed. I worked with her for several years at Norfolk in the Property office. Marie was always good for a laugh and never let me get away with anything. She was the genesis of office jokes and commentary ongoing to this day especially regarding her flask and pool room adventures. Marie was and is still respected for her work and most especially for her sense of humor, decency and humanity. I will miss her smiling eyes and quick wit.

Dear Family and Friends of Marie.
I knew Marie since 1992 when I came to Little Creek. Although, she seemed to be a very private person, her humor was always evident. My husband and I had an open house when we moved to Chesapeake and she bought me a Christmas rug to put in front of my fireplace. Every year when I get my decorations out I think of her with fond memories. I will continue to do that and keep you all in my prayers.

Dear Family,
Marie was an amazing woman!! We enjoyed lunches together at work and I observed and experienced her love, strength, ambition, compassion, intelligence, humor, and she just did not put up with stuff. She was a very private woman, but at times did share some of her life experiences with me. I will miss her tremendously. Father, hold Marie in your loving arms and may she know all the love she has from us, may she 'know' everyone is going to be okay, and may she rest in your loving arms, now and forevermore!! I miss and love you Marie!!...

Dear Family, My prayers are with you during your time of loss. Marie was so much fun to work with. I only knew her for a little while, but was blessed to have had that. She reminded me of my dear grandmother, in her younger years, and I often felt that God had given me her back for a short time through Marie. Her laughter and dry wit are greatly missed. With love, Trudi MacMillan NMCP

Dear Family,

My prayers are with you.

I will miss Marie dearly. We worked together for 10 years at NAB Little Creek base. She was a fun loving person and I am glad she is not suffering anymore. We used to have so much fun on our Happy hour Fridays with the girls. Bowling was always a fun night also. One of the best memories was at Bayside Inn grand opening when 4 of us girls stayed out really late and did Kareoke together. We never laughed so hard. I will miss the two foot driver!
