Dear family and friends of Marie, What a joy it was to know Marie. She always kept a smile on her face and always made us laugh. She was diagnosed the same time my father was diagnosed and we had many conversations about the disease. What a wonderful comfort she was even while she was going through the same thing. I will miss her greatly.

Dear Family, I was taken aback when I heard Marie was ill and that she had passed. I worked with her for several years at Norfolk in the Property office. Marie was always good for a laugh and never let me get away with anything. She was the genesis of office jokes and commentary ongoing to this day especially regarding her flask and pool room adventures. Dear Family and Friends of Marie.
I knew Marie since 1992 when I came to Little Creek. Although, she seemed to be a very private person, her humor was always evident. My husband and I had an open house when we moved to Chesapeake and she bought me a Christmas rug to put in front of my fireplace. Every year when I get my decorations out I think of her with fond memories. I will continue to do that and keep you all in my prayers.

I will miss Marie dearly. We worked together for 10 years at NAB Little Creek base. She was a fun loving person and I am glad she is not suffering anymore. We used to have so much fun on our Happy hour Fridays with the girls. Bowling was always a fun night also.
