Virginia Twiford Obituary

Virginia Twiford VIRGINIA BEACH - Virginia "Jenny" Twiford, 75, of the 700 block of Brinson Arch, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Jenny was a member of Norfolk First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 80, Virginia Beach, and the DAV Auxiliary, Unit 20. She is survived by her husband, William Curtis Twiford; a daughter, Teresa Twiford Jackson and husband Wilber (her favorite son-in-law) of Virginia Beach; a son, Bobby Lionel Twiford Jr. and wife Terri of Richmond, Va.; three grandchildren, Jennifer L. Jackson of Virginia Beach, Jessica Marie Weaver and Tiffany Annette Dalton of Suffolk; one great-grandchild, Skylar Grace Jackson (Nana's baby) of Virginia Beach; one nephew, Vernon Woodruff of Maryland; a stepfather, Joseph Towel of Norfolk; and special family, Kate and Jimmy Brown of Maryland, Chuck Chisolm, David Mitchell, Ivy Stoliker, Floyd and Yvonne Newkirk, Duran and Pat Trowbridge, all of Virginia Beach, and Edner and Jeanner of North Carolina. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, with the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
