Max G. Culler NORFOLK - Dr. Max G. Culler, 59, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at his residence. Born in Bay City, Mich., Max was the pastor at Lafayette Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of Lenoir- Rhyne College and received his master's degree from Princeton University. Max is survived by his mother, Ruth B. Miller and stepfather Paul D. Miller of Lenoir, N.C.; a sister, Carolyn C. Greene and husband Clyde, formerly of Lenoir; several nieces and a nephew. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Lafayette Presbyterian Church with Dr. Richard Short officiating. Burial will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lafayette Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 1821 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23509.
