I had the opportunity to know Ellis as very few did, that as platoon members in Officer Candidate School at Fort Knox Kentucky in 1966. He was a fun loving guy, with a quick smile. Few has what it took to make it through that tough course, but Ellis was up to the task. Although I never saw him after OCS, I am sure he made a fine offier of whom I would have proud to serve with. A-1 Ellis
