Neva G. Perry

Virginia Beach - Neva Perry, 79, passed away on October 2, 2014. Neva was born in Creswell, NC. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk. She retired after 40 years of employment with Bank of America. She was preceded in death by her brother Wade Phelps of Creswell, NC.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 61 years, Charlie Cecil Perry, son Michael Perry and wife Teresa of Suffolk, daughter Donna Porter and husband Buddy of Chesapeake, sisters Betty Cohoon of Hampton, and Dixie Clifton of Creswell, NC; Grandmother of Jennifer Wallace, Jessica Lee, and Amanda Porter, and 9 great grandchildren; she is also survived by countless other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Rd., Va. Beach on Sunday from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 am in First Baptist Church of Norfolk, 312 Kempsville Rd. Burial Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton, NC.
