Michael Geers Obituary
Norfolk - Michael Jay Geers, 43, passed away on Friday, November 18th, 2016 after a heroic fight with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife Kasondra, adored daughter Libby Shea, mother Nancy Tucker, and too many friends to name. He was predeceased by his father Neal Geers.
Born on January 29, 1973, Mike grew up in Norfolk and Va. Beach where he attended Cox High School. He loved the local rock'n'roll community and had many friends from that time of his life. In 1990 Mike moved to the West Coast, where he lived in California, Washington, and Alaska and met the love of his life, Kasondra. In 2012, Mike brought his family home to the East Coast, where he was happy to reconnect with so many of his old friends.
Mike will be remembered from coast to coast for his BIG personality and fierce loyalty to his many, many friends, as well as his love for his family.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held on December 10, 2016 at 4pm at the home Sergio and Christa Ponce, Portsmouth, VA.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know your world is ever so much richer because you 2 know each other. My prayers are with you -- even more important than that -- my God is with you and I simply cannot imagine you and your daughter landing anywhere but on your feet. God bless you and all you love.
