CREVE COEUR - Mary Susan "Sue" Sharick, 54, of Creve Coeur died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at her home.
She was born Nov. 2, 1957, in Joliet, Ill., to Kenneth and Marjorie (Holler) Sharick.
Surviving are her partner, Rich Pettijohn of Creve Coeur; one granddaughter, Chrissi Dorman of Creve Coeur; one brother, Skip (Patty) Sharick of Ellsworth, Ill.; two sisters, Deborah Barniville of Portage, Ind., and Beth (Jim) Taylor of Downers Grove, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sue worked in radiology billing in Peoria.
She was an avid camper and fisherman. She was also a family caregiver. Sue was known for her Christmas goodies.
After being diagnosed with cancer, Sue donated her hair to Locks of Love. From her donation, two children's wigs were created.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date. Ludwig Mortuary in Morton is handling arrangements.
