I've often thought about Aunt Nelda and what ever happened to her... After our father passed away we never had contact with her... I do remember when I was very young going to her house, she was so nice to all of us and Floyd played the guitar. I loved the girls room upstairs with the dormer windows and remember pretending to be Rapunzle. I do know my father, Raymond loved his sister Nelda. My sister Ramona was playing around on the net and just happened upon this memorial and shared it with me.. a little to late I'm afraid...I will have to wait for the big family reunion when my time comes...I know she was loved dearly and how much you will miss her. Our prayers to your family

I will miss Granny. She became my Granny 13 years ago when I meet John. His family greeted me with open arms and have made me feel as though I have always belonged there.I will miss Granny the most on Christmas or any big gathering. She would hang out with me in the kitchen and we would talk.I remember one time at Aunt Betty's everyone was in the back yard down the hill and Granny let me help her walk. Brenda told me she never lets anyone help or hold her arm it made me feel a little special.I will have many fond memories of Granny that will make me smile or laugh. Brenda and Betty I love you both and I do know how much you will miss her.

Dear Betty, Brenda and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of you mother and the loss of a great Cardinal Fan. One less Cardinals fan is never a good thing. I hope that she passed peacefully and that you will be comforted by fond memories. She gave it a tough go!
I know she will be missed terribly. My sincere condolences,
Penny Marsh

When I started working at Bel-Wood, 31 years ago, Nelda was one of the first employees to welcome me into my new position. She was always kind, pleasant and had that shy smile. It was a pleasure knowing Nelda and an honor to have worked with her. My sympathy to her family and may she rest in peace.
