PEORIA - Kenneth I. "Ken" Reeser, 89, of Peoria passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011, at J.C. Proctor Endowment Home in Peoria.
He was born Jan. 20, 1922, in Oak Park, Ill., a son of Irvin and Pearl Dingeldine Reeser. He married Clara Jo Staples on July 31, 1948, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are two sisters, Dorothy E. Schrone of Austin, Texas, and Carol Bridges of Rockville, Md.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ken was employed by Caterpillar Inc. for 45 years, retiring in 1986.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2011, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Chaplain Mary Jane West will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the chapel. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
