All of us in the Karcher family are blessed to have such amazing, loving, giving people in our family (legacy of Tom and Kate), Uncle Jack (as I grew up calling him) being one that really stood out as a loving giving soul. Me, growing up in California really missed out on not being able to spend much time with my Uncle Jack, but I do know what an amazing man in every way Uncle Jack "Jake" was. Until we meet again, your niece, Linda. sending out much love and prayers to my cousins and all his loved ones left behind

Jake will be fondly remembered as a very hardworking and very generous person. He loved bringing in his garden vegetables and giving them to people at work. He brought me some horseradish one day, and it was awesome! I can't imagine anyone who didn't like Jake. He was so funny! You have my deepest sympathy.

I worked for an elderly lady in the early 90's. Jake would come fix things for her. He was a very kind man. She spoke very highly of him and would always tell me how he could fix anything. My sympathy to his family.

To the Karcher family: My condolences on your loss. I had the very distinct privilege of working with your father at Remmert Funeral Home. I will not begin to recount stories as there are just too many. I'll say only that he did not just make us smile..he made us laugh out loud! He and your mother were exceptional people and leave behind great memories for many. Blessings to you all. Carol Keithly.
