A Roseville resident of 49 years, born May 14, 1922, in Willa N.D., passed away June 14, 2011, in Roseville at the age of 89.
Eleanor was a devoted Catholic, she worked for McClellan Air Force Base for 30 years and retired as a Supervising Flight Manual Editor. She enjoyed seing, quilting, various hobbies and took great pride in making numerous crafts for her loving children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband of 28 years, John Holladay. She is survived by children: Ellen (Ron) Waggoner, Joan (Chris) Maffei, Stephen (Peri) Holladay; grandchildren: Joy Evans, Karin Lynch, Carla Goodall, Kristin Rakes, Nic Rakes, Luke Maffei, Adam Plantz, Sarah Boden and Rachel Holladay; and 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mathilda Bebee from Taft Calif., Agnes De Pretis from Portland Ore., and John Yambra from Portland Ore.; also 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 3-6 p.m., Rosary at 6 p.m. at Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses, 103 Lincoln St., Roseville. Mass on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, 12 p.m. at the Saint Rose Catholic Church 615 Vine St., Roseville. Interment at Roseville District Cemetery. Reception at Roseville Moose Lodge.
Family refers donations to be made to charity of yourchoice.
Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses providing arrangements.

So very sorry for your Loss. Eleanor was a great friend to my Mother, Helen O'Connor, starting back in the 1960's and until my Mother's passing in 1978. I have a couple items that Eleanor made for my mother back then, if you are interested in having them for the family, I will gladly send them. I have gotten to cherish them all these years and feel maybe someone in her family would like to cherish them for years to come.
