KENNETH E. LOCKERT
PORTSMOUTH - Kenneth E. Lockert, 74 of Portsmouth passed away Friday Aug. 28, 2015 at home after a long illness. He was born April 1, 1941 in South Webster a son of the late Earl and Fern Charles Lockert. He was a former truck driver and loved to hunt and fish. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Nancy Shoemaker Lockert; four sons, Kenneth Lockert, Robert Lockert, Joseph Lockert and James Lockert; two daughters, Sharon Seasor and Melissa Swanner; a brother, Robert Lockert, 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was also prededed in death by a son, Anthony Lockert. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday Sept. 1, 2015 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with interment to follow at South Webster cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences to dwswicknelsonfuneralhome.com.

Nancy and family, God bless all of you. I loved Uncle Kenny very much. He had such a wonderful sense of humor. Beneath his tough guy act was the kind heart of a soft teddy bear. Uncle Kenny, Rest in Peace. You are loved and will not be forgotten.
