CAROL BELINDA LISTON

WICHITA, KS — Carol Belinda Liston, 67 of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of West Portsmouth, died Tuesday, April 18 2017 at her home. She was born November 16, 1949 in Portsmouth to the late John W. and Betty C. Justice Cook. She was an Ohio University graduate with a BA in Education and was a former teacher at Notre Dame High School. She was also a substitute teacher at Washington-Nile School District and taught at Shawnee State Basics GED Program. She formerly attended Nauvoo United Methodist Church and Holy Redeemer Church. Along with her parents Carol was preceded in death by her husband William Floyd Liston, who she married on November 16, 1971.

Carol is survived by a son, John (Leah) Liston of Wichita, 2 stepsons; Scott Liston of Dresden and Steve Liston of Newark, a daughter Patti Liston of Wichita, a step daughter Lashelle Presley of Newark, 2 brothers; David Diener and Tom Diener both of Wichita, 3 grandchildren; Emily, Abby and Alli, along with several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday April 24, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisuneralhome.com.
