Dear Deborah,

When we lose something that is precious to us, we are left with a feeling of sadness. Whether it is a precious friend or even a treasured object, the loss can be hard to bear. It is as if a part of you has gone missing. Throughout our life we amass collections of friends and treasured possessions. Having close relationships help us feel as if we are not alone in the world. When we lose someone or something that is precious to us, we may realize that there is a certain aloneness that can never be filled. Ultimately the condition of life is one of being alone before God.

Dr Carey & family,

Tony is at peace. Think of the good times and smile. For comfort, read Ecclesiastes 3:1-15,17,19,20,22. May God bring you peace during this time. Back in the days...

To the entire Carey family, I give you all my deepest condolences for the loss of your Son, brother, nephew, uncle and my friend. Tony was a good person and well liked and loved to great measure. I pray that you all will join me in thinking of the good times we all have shared with Tony in the years passed. Take consolation in knowing that "earth has no sorrows that heaven cannot heal" "though weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning" keep leaning on Jesus for He cares and He will wipe the tears from your weeping eyes. God bless you all. Rest in the peace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Tony.

To Dr. Carey, Wendell and Chris,

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Tony. Tony was truly a great friend in high school. Keep the fond memories of him close to your heart. Remember this powerful word, (F.R.O.G) - Fully Rely On God. HE will see you through these troubling times. Your loss is heavens gain. I will keep you all in my prayers.
