Bonnie Sawyer-Smith Obituary

Mrs. Bonnie Sawyer-Smith age 85 of Gary, Indiana went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2016. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Willie P. Smith; parents Leola and Fred Sawyer; sister Elizabeth Garland and brothers Floyd and Claude Sawyer. Bonnie is survived by her daughter Mattie Brandon; two grandsons Dwayne (Bertha) and El (Kim); great grandson Onterio Hudson; great great granddaughter Telen Hudson; sister Delilah Fletcher of Decatur, AL and a host of sons and daughters of her extended family and friends. Visitation Wednesday March 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. all services at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Reverend R. J. Protho officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
