Clifford Avery Obituary

Age 68, a Gary resident for over 50 years passed away January 30, 2016 at University of Chicago from a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. Clifford was retired from LTV Steel Corp. He was preceded in death by his father Louis Avery and brother Preston Avery. He leaves to cherish fond loving memories mother, Mary Avery; daughter, Charlene (Harold) Franklin; grandchildren, Jaylond L. (Ariel) and Jayla L. Franklin; great-grandson, Tucker L. Franklin; 2 sisters and 4 brothers, and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Temple of Deliverance in Christ Church, 4929 W. 15th Ave, Gary IN., with funeral services immediately following. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Professional services rendered by Guy & Allen Funeral Directors, Inc.
