Donald Cottman

1937 - 2016

Donald Henley Cottman was born on January 31, 1937 to the late Hazekiah and Inez Cottman in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from high school Donald joined the United States army, and he served there from May 27, 1954 to May 24, 1957. It was on March 8, 1957 that Donald married Jacqueline Richmond. In 1957 he was hired as a lieutenant security guard at the Westville Correctional Center in Westville, Indiana. Donald peacefully entered into eternal life on January 6, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents. Hi will continue to be remembered by loving wife Jacqueline Richmond Cottman; sister Ann Velma McNeill of Baltimore, MD; nieces Ruth Battle and Pamela Cottman of Baltimore, MD; sisters-in-law Louise Lee, Queenlosha (Eugene) Rogers, Sharma (Frank) Fountain; brothers-in-law Dr. Norris L. Richmond, Larson (Delores) Richmond; cousins-in-law Jorone (Yolonda) Richmond, Alameta Richmond Harrison and other relatives and friends. Visitation January 12, 2016 from 9-2:00p.m with funeral services to follow at 2:00p.m. all services at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery.
