Jacqueline Richmond Cottman Obituary

age 80 passed away July 18, 2016 at Miller's Merry Manor . She was born to Norris and Queen Victoria Richmond on December 24, 1936 in Gary, Indiana. Jacqueline attended East Pulaski School and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1954. At the age of 13, she was baptized by Rev. W.H. Thomas at Trinity Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Beatty Memorial Hospital where she worked in Medication Administration. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald H. Cottman on January 6, 2016, parents, brothers Raymond and Golden, sisters Marva and Katrina. Jacqueline is survived by sisters Louise Lee, Queenlosha (Eugene) Rogers, Sharma (Frank) Fountain. Brothers Dr. Norris L. Richmond and Larson (Delores) Richmond and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Family hour is Monday July 25 from 9 - 10:55 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00a.m. All services at Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave. Gary, IN. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery, Griffith, IN.
