My Paw Paw( My Father),
Words can't express what I'm feeling during this time... I've always thought that you would never leave me. I was not at all prepared for this day to come (we just talked Saturday on the phone). As I've always told you - you and my mom are the reason that I grew up to be a God fearing respectful independent woman. You've always been there for me , rather it was to talk, to help me understand life, and for my boys (your grandchildren). I love you to the moon and back Paw Paw lord knows if I could give anything to have you back I would! I don't know how to handle what I'm feeling but to try and block it out but I know it is going to come to ahead soon and I pray I can handle it. You showed me how to be a hard working woman to get what I need in life by seeing you work the majority of your life. When you first got sick it hurt me to my core because I couldn't do anything to help you. But I thank God that you had a loving wife (My Mother) that did her best to take care of you on her own while you was sick. There will never be another like you. Rest in peace knowing that you had a lot of love here. This day came way too soon .I love you Paw Paw
Love Your Daughter,
Carla Drew
P. S. Thank you from the deepest part of my heart to everyone who came and sat with my Paw Paw, took him for rides to get him out the house & called him regularly while he was sick (You know who you are) and God bless you.

To Thompson family, I have no words that will comfort you. However, I know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the greatest
comforter of all. Lean on Him, and He will strengthen you. Thank you Pete for being the epitome of a true humble spirit.
